this is too good to be true! how did they fit everything in one app?!? and can you put line numbers plz k thanx
This is such a great app. I love Shakespeare and I love this app!
Awesome! I teach Shakespeare and for students or teachers to have a searchable Shakespeare on the iPhone is just an amazing and time saving tool. With this App and the Stanza App I dont need my Kindle anymore!
All of Shakespears plays and sonnets, for free? Crazy!!!
Its all good except for the fact that theres no page numbers or line numbers! It would be so much better if it had those... Just think about it??
I have a Romeo and Juliet book by No Fear, and they included a modern day translation. I used it for those parts that I didnt understand... That needs to be added to this app to make it greater.
LINE NUMBERS, LINE NUMBERS, LINE NUMBERS!!!!!!! cant stress the pint enough. i use this app regularly in school, and despritly need the line numbers for qoute analasys.
I love this app! The scroll format of texts is great. I also like the feature that the app opens exactly where I left off reading.
Great to have a collection like this to read at my leasure.
Very nice app! I wish there would be number lines.
A fantastic application, highly recommended for anyone with an interest in Shakespeare. A better way to jump into the text, eg line numbers, would be nice, but otehrwise, Ive read more plays, or portions of plays with this application that I have with the paper version upon my shelves.
I cant believe this is all free! This is a MUST download app!
It is great for school so I dont have to bring home the book I can study for test s. Also my dad likes to read some of it now and again. Hope it stays free.
Im very happy to have this to pass idle time away. I downloaded it just It seems to work well. The free version seems to have the content only, i.e. his plays, sonnets, and poems only. No analysis or background.
Im a student in college and Im from Stratford myself ... Great App! Free no strings and complete also has a great visual setup!
Its really great and helpful. I dont have to carry the plays around :D
Fantastic! Easy to use, and exhaustively complete. I love it!
What iBooks does for reading books, the Shakespeare app does for plays–specifically (and obviously) Shakespeare’s plays. It breaks them down, act-by-act and scene-by-scene, keeping it easy enough to follow the script. Scene breakdowns. A full-fledged search. Easily manipulatable, like iBooks, it’s my go-to for everything of the bard. Note: I haven’t upgrade to Pro and I don’t see myself doing it any time soon: some random portraits; a glorified quotes section; and scansion, which I’m not ashamed to admit that I don’t recall enough of high-school english to know about. The high cost ($9.99) for what I see as a limited feature set is what keeps this app from being perfect.
Wouldnt it be totally awesome to have audio?!
